A Greeting from the Home Missions Director, Pastor Paul Nash:

Dear Friends,

It is a privilege to partner with you and your congregation in the work of the AFLC and God’s kingdom. We are grateful for your faithful ministry in your church and community.

Our mission field is our beloved country, the USA. The need to plant Word-centered Lutheran congregations has never been greater! Our Home Missions pastors and new churches are experiencing more warfare than ever before as our culture becomes more intolerant to a Christian worldview. We desperately need the prayer support of our congregations. Would you please consider sharing the resources below with your congregation? There are promotional videos, bulletin inserts, and fun children's activities. There is something for EVERYONE!

We ask you to encourage your congregants to sign up for our Knee Mail. This weekly prayer update from our department contains a video devotional, information and prayer concerns from our department. It is available via email or through the postal mail service.

  1. Join us in prayer! Sign up for our weekly email newsletter called, Knee Mail, to get the latest updates. 
  2. Invite Home Missions to share a Come Join Us presentation at your church.
  3. Consider supporting the KAKN Radio station in Naknek, AK. Donating $500 covers a full day of programming!
  4. Support our AFLC Home Missions Gatherings financially.
  5. Like our Facebook page and share it with your friends.
  6. Volunteer at the Alaska Mission next summer.
  7. Consider Parish Building!
  8. Ship some quilts up to Alaska.
